The Raven-Kin talismans are amulets made from hexagonal pieces of aventurine held in a harness of woven leather or cloth cords. The talismans were used by the [[Culture:Raven-Kin|Raven-Kin]] people from the [[Landmark:Crestwood Forest|Crestwood Forest]] in [[Province:Anhres|Anhres]] to turn into [[Creature:Raven|ravens]]. Sources cite the origin of the amulets to be [[Deity:Ezethia|Ezethia]], the [[Organization:Skia Veldrane|Skia Veldrane]] holding dominion over secrets. [[Heritage:Aurilore|Aurilore]] historical reports claim that the amulets were bound to individual members of the society via a lengthy ritual, and that anyone who touched the talisman who was not bonded to it would cause it to break apart and become useless. No such talismans remain in the modern age due to the genocide of the [[Heritage:Kroeven|Kroeven]] by the Aurilore. Despite this, Aurilore in [[Province:Halia|Halia]] remain superstitious of ravens and their connection to Ezethia, although it is unclear if any believe that the ravens are transformed Kroeven that have persisted since the [[Era:Awakening|Awakening]] or simple birds.
