Essences of Shadow

The essences of Shadow are nine entities that, while appearing to be people, are actually bands of shadow given form. Each essence completely embodies one of the traits of Shadow and is incapable of adopting any others. They are one-dimensional personalities that only care to further their specific trait, although they do typically work with each other to meet their goals. They are in direct contradiction to the essences of Light and are weak to the magic practiced by the Kroeven due to Ezethia's influence on that culture.
