Disciplines
Disciplines, also called schools, of magic are artificially constructed delineations between different magical spells. Each adawe-based spell on Zyrkthraan can be classified into one of the disciplines, for easy learning of the spells.
There are currently 6 disciplines:
- Evocation, the magic of bringing forth something that did not exist there before
- Greenweave, the magic of manipulating plants
- Mamuamancy, the magic of manipulating the mind
- Mending, the magic of healing living creatures
- Primal, the magic of the elements
- Transmutation, the magic of making something different than it was
