Dechka
Dechka is a two player game created by the Duuema. It is a logic-based strategy game played on a 9x9 checkered board and uses playing tokens similar to those in chess. Its origins can be traced back to the original founder of the Abtherek clan and is a game enjoyed for both recreational and competitive purposes.
The standard pieces in dechka are:
- King
- Queen
- Knight
- Oracle
- Chariot
- Pawn
Most games are played with all the pieces. Some forms of the game, such as Two Royal, Template:Butterfliesare played with extra pieces. In the case of Two Royal, the standard pieces are used plus an additional king and queen for both sides. This version is played on a 10x10 board and the knights are moved to the front line.
