Culture
In the land of Zyrkthraan, there are a great many people hailing from a great many lands. All of these people can be categorized in different ways. Most typically, individuals are categorized first by their culture, then by their background, and then, as a last resort, by their heritage.
Culture is defined by an individuals upbringing, such as being raised in a community that values mercantile skills above strength of arm. While many cultures across the land share similarities in some regards, no two are identical. In addition, a person's heritage is almost never a good indicator of what culture they belong to, as some have immigrated to other lands where they raised their family within the culture that existed there. Cultures do not have clear delineations between them like heritages have, so it is important to stay mindful of someone's behaviors as a product of their culture, and not due to some physical factor.
