Elder

Elder is a rank within a few different societies, but most notably Fjallmenn society. In there, Elders are considered people who can be relied on for various things and who act in responsible manners. These people are typically older individuals who have a positive impact on their community. They are known to give well-founded advice.

Despite their positive standing in their own communities, Elders may face hardship in other communities. This is due to the rank being restricted to the community or communities that the person is actively involved in.
