Artifacts

Artifacts are items, sometimes appearing to be typical, mundane items, that are imbued with powerful magic. Artifacts are primarily used by religious figures, mages, and cultists, although people not in those positions have been known to use them when possible. These items, while having great power, tend to have limitations in the ways they can be used. For example, some may only be used during certain phases of the moon, while underwater, or only while performing a ritual. While there are many artifacts all across Zyrkthraan, most are believed to be kept by responsible parties.

Some prominent artifacts include:

• The Pike of Relentless Fury, otherwise known as Umbrex's Pike
• The Harmonic Triad, a collection of three artifacts of Duuema origin
• Raven-Kin talismans, crystals that allow individuals to transform into ravens
• The Soulstar, which is believed to contain the soul of a primordial deity
• The Orb of Infinite Knowledge, a crystal ball that supposedly contains all the knowledge of the universe
