Heritage:Eldarathi
Eldarathi
The Eldarathi are a group of elves that have brown-toned skin ranging from light to dark, black, brown, or blonde hair, and green, blue, or brown eyes. They live within the different biomes of Moya Ardhi, with each different area being the home of different cultural groups. They consider themselves the protectors of the lands and work to maintain balance with nature.
Cultures
There are three major cultural groups within the Eldarathi:
- Sunstride
- Mosswhisper
- Glacierheart
Sunstride
The Sunstride people live in the southern-most parts of Moya Ardhi, where the land turns dry and the savanna stretches out to touch the neighboring Setosia desert. they have many legends surrounding the desert, most of which include the presence of an evil spirit that seeks to consume all life. They believe that there is an ancient, malignant creature that resides at the heart of the desert, and that the desert was formed by Mora to contain the evil. They have many superstitions regarding going into the desert, viewing it as incredibly dangerous and an act that will bring a curse on the entire clan. While none usually try and go into the desert, sometimes there is a particularly juvenile person that seeks to break the rules and see if there's truly something out there. these people are punished severely, the entire clan working together to show them what curses would befall them should they actually venture into the desert.
Mosswhisper
The Mosswhisper people live in the seasonal forest in central Moya Ardhi. they spend most of their days communicating with the plants and animals in the forest, using their knowledge of the surroundings to alert them of trouble. they are highly respectful of all creatures within their forest and those existing elsewhere, and seek to live in harmony with all living things. this does not meant that they don't eat, though. They make sure to pay their respects to every thing they eat.
Glacierheart
The Glacierheart people live exclusively in the northern-most parts of Moya Ardhi, keeping watch over the arctic lands and the creatures that live there. they have powerful water-based magic that they've developed to remain aligned with their habitat. They have also created magical beasts that assist them in moving through the tundra.
