Ethonian
The Ethonian people live in Vinhia and are avian in nature, however they also possess arms alongside their wings, visible external ears, and horns. They come in various molt patterns that change as they advance from juveniles to adults but that do not change based on the seasons or biological sex of the person. They are raptors and, while solitary by nature, have come to live in communities called flocks in order to determine ownership over lands and the creatures within. They do not have any sort of agriculture as they are a society of hunters, where individuals will venture into the wilderness outside the established towns to catch all manner of creatures. Some maintain shops in which they sell live animals for food purposes, having caught them and left them alive for that reason. The various flocks are largely homogeneous, although an individual may on rare occasion gain entry into one that they were not born into. Their currency, unlike most cultures, consists of random items that are in some way shiny or sparkly that are called "Sparklers." The method of obtaining Sparklers and the logic behind how they spend are dependent on many factors.
The Ethonians are ruled by a man called the Black Emperor, a person with only black feathers who overtook the entire region by force many years prior to the current day. He lords over the populace with strict rules and regulations, which are enforced by his elite guards called the Blackwing Guardians, who also serve as regional protectors of the various cities and villages spread throughout Vinhia. Public opinion toward the emperor is profoundly negative, save for some small outlying villages.
