Dragons are creatures native to the continent of Sheydal. None have ever been seen outside of that continent, so many believe that they are mythological and do not truly exist. However, Fjallmenn lore speaks frequently of a person called the Dekanda who is capable of shapeshifting into the form of a dragon even if they have not ever seen one. While most dismissed this as common folklore, opinions were changed when someone did indeed transform into a dragon during the Harmonic era.

According to Fjallmenn history, dragons are long, serpent-like creatures that have short legs, horns coming from their head, and fur instead of scales, and are capable of bending the elements by dancing. Most Fjallmenn believe that dragons were created by Elduranda in his own image, so they consider them to be sacred beasts.
