Thieves are individuals that steal items from others in order to gain something. Most thieves of the modern age are members of the Invisible Union, which allows them to steal high-value items to sell to the Union's laundering network. Beyond the Union, though, there are petty thieves that steal simply because they enjoy it or because it is the only way to make ends meet. These people typically have other employment and only steal for personal gratification or to obtain necessities. Those who decide to make a career of stealing must constantly be on-guard for the presence of guards or other enforcement officers, as they will be sent to jail if found with stolen goods.
