Thraanic is the common language of Zyrkthraan and is utilized by most individuals who engage in multicultural events or environments. Those who speak Thraanic typically have learned it as a language in addition to their native language, which is dependent on the geographical area they were raised in as well as their heritage. There are many people who cannot speak Thraanic at all, despite its seemingly ubiquitous usage.
