The Caeluvex of ancient times were highly devoted to Umbrex and his teachings. They were ruled by a man named Raevoth Tharivol, who also served as the champion of Umbrex, the Ebony Vindicator. Devotion to Umbrex was shown in many ways, including allowing trials by combat and zero prosecution for those who wrought destruction in his name. Following the events of Starfall and the return of Raevoth, the Caeluvex abandoned the religious methods of the previous eras to return to the worship of Umbrex. While there is no one who can vouch for the similarities between the ancient religious practices and those of the modern age, many believe that the current methods of worship are incredibly similar to what was being done in the earlier days of their civilization.
