Noctithil
Noctithil is a byproduct of the volcanic activity on Vethrala. It is a volcanic metal that is primarily used to create weapons and armors due to its balance of strength and brittleness. When used for weapons, the cutting edges are considered to be the sharpest that can possibly be achieved by any material, and the blades hold their edge for an exceptionally long time. However, it is not easy to produce a blade with such a fine cutting edge, so the majority of noctithil weapons will not be as sharp as they could potentially be. Flawlessly crafted noctithil weapons are incredibly expensive.
