Nivalii

The Nivalii were a group of elves that lived in the snowy northern reaches of Anhres. They are said to have pure white skin and hair and light blue eyes. Fjallmenn tales remark that the Nivalii people seemed to all be female, with none of them having any masculine qualities. It is unknown if the entire group was indeed made up only of women, if there was only a small number of men, or if the two sexes looked too similar to each other for the Fjallmenn to differentiate them.

The Nivalii existed peacefully alongside the Duuema when they arrived during the Awakening. Despite this, the Fjallmenn who arrived later were not kind to them and intended to hunt them out of existence. Needing to find security, they requested asylum from the Duuema leaders, who allowed them into their cities on the condition that they would become indentured servants. They agreed to this and coexisted with the Duuema until the Vanishment that caused the disappearance of all living Duuema. It is unknown what became of the Nivalii following this event, as none have been seen since.
